ASCL2 Antibody (PA5-47852) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemical analysis of ASCL2 in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of Human Placenta. Samples were incubated with ASCL2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47852) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL for 1 hour at room temperature followed by incubation with the Anti-Sheep IgG HRP Secondary Antibody. Tissue was stained with DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue).

This gene is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (BHLH) family of transcription factors. It activates transcription by binding to the E box (5'-CANNTG-3'). Dimerization with other BHLH proteins is required for efficient DNA binding. Involved in the determination of the neuronal precursors in the peripheral nervous system and the central nervous system.
