Fra1 Antibody (PA5-95521) in WB
Western blot analysis of Fra1 in Lane 1: human A375 whole cell lysates. Electrophoresis was performed with 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel (70V, Stacking gel; 90V Resolving gel, Time: 2-3 hours), transferred to a nitrocellulose membrane and blocked using 5% Non-fat Milk/TBS (1.5 hrs at room temperature). Samples were incubated with Fra1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-95521) using a 0.5 µg/mL dilution, followed by a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP at a dilution of 1:10,000, and developed with enhanced chemiluminescence (ECL).

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human A375 whole cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The v-Fos oncogene was initially detected in two independent murine osteosarcoma virus isolates and an avian nephroblastoma virus. Members of the c-Fos gene family, including c-Fos, Fos B, Fra-1 and Fra-2, encode nuclear phosphoproteins that are rapidly and transiently induced by a variety of agents and function as transcriptional regulators for several genes. In contrast to c-Jun proteins, which form homo- and heterodimers that bind to specific DNA response elements, c-Fos proteins are only active as heterodimers with members of the Jun gene family. In addition, selected ATF/CREB family members can form leucine zipper dimers with Fos and Jun. Different dimers exhibit differential specificity and affinity for AP-1 and CRE sites.
