Galectin 7 Antibody (PA5-115506) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Galectin 7 in human colorectal cancer and adjacent normal tissues. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115506) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit.

Target Information
The galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins implicated in modulating cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. Differential and in situ hybridization studies indicate that this lectin is specifically expressed in keratinocytes and found mainly in stratified squamous epithelium. A duplicate copy of this gene (GeneID:653499) is found adjacent to, but on the opposite strand on chromosome 19.
