Western blot analysis of LPCAT4 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with LPCAT4 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89748) using a dilution of 1:3,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 1s.

Target Information
Members of the 1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase family, such as AGPAT7, catalyze the conversion of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) to phosphatidic acid (PA), a precursor in the biosynthesis of all glycerolipids. Both LPA and PA are involved in signal transduction.
