MAGEC1 Antibody (PA5-103283) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of MAGEC1 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with MAGEC1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103283) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total MAGEC1.
靶标信息
MAGEC1 is a member of the melanoma antigen gene (MAGE) family. The proteins of this family are tumor-specific antigens that can be recognized by autologous cytolytic T lymphocytes. This protein contains a large number of unique short repetitive sequences in front of the MAGE-homologous sequence, thus is about 800 residues longer than the other MAGE proteins. This gene is expressed in a significant proportion of tumors of various histological types, whereas it is silent in normal tissues, except testis. The function of this gene is unknown.
