PIM3 Antibody (PA5-95906) in WB
Western blot analysis of PIM3 in extracts of various cells. Samples were incubated with PIM3 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-95906) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 90s.

PIM3 serine/threonine kinase or PIM-3 oncogene belongs to a family of protooncogenes. PIM3 is expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma development and plays a main role in the proliferation of human hepatoma cell lines. PIM3 also expressed in human pancreatic cancer cells and phosphorylates BAD to block Bad-mediated apoptosis in human pancreatic cancer cell lines. PIM3 is widely expressed, with the exception of no expression observed in colon, thymus, and small intestine.
