PSMG1 Antibody (PA5-19076) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of PSMG1 using PSMG1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-19076) in paraformaldehyde fixed U2OS cells, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton. Primary incubation 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (4 µg/mL), showing Golgi apparatus and some cytoplasmic staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (4 µg/mL).

The PSMG1-PSMG2 heterodimer binds to the PSMA5 and PSMA7 proteasome subunits, promotes assembly of the proteasome alpha subunits into the heteroheptameric alpha ring and prevents alpha ring dimerization.
