SAP97 Antibody (A302-226A) in WB
Detection of human SAP97 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SAP97 antibody (Product # A302-226A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 0.4 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 10 µg/mg lysate. SAP97 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SAP97 antibody BL4760, which recognizes a downstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A) and 30 seconds (B).

Target Information
This gene encodes a multi-domain scaffolding protein that is required for normal development. This protein may have a role in septate junction formation, signal transduction, cell proliferation, synaptogenesis and lymphocyte activation. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene, but the full-length nature of some of the variants is not known.
