Specificity: Puumala serotype nucleocapsid protein which has been shown to be the major immunogen in infections (HFRS, Nephropathia epidemica) caused by Puumala Virus. A1C5 reacts with an epitope present on the N-terminus (aa 15-35) of the nucleocapsid protein (S segment) of hantavirus CG 18-20 strain (Puumala serotype) and also cross-reacts with SNV (Sin Nombre virus) rN protein. This antibody was used in a Indirect ELISA.
