Stem Cell COREdinates Focus Session

Dr. Zhang presented cardiac organoids as advanced models for cardiac research, emphasizing the need for an integrated platform to assess their functional metrics. He highlighted the shift towards non-animal methods and addressed the issue of cardiotoxicity in drug development. He outlined how their approach, the Cardiac High Throughput Automated Multiplexing Platform (CHAMP), can scale the applications of cardiac organoids.
