Invitrogen MultiShot formats of chemically competent cells are designed for compatibility with multichannel pipettes and automated liquid handling robots to streamline the bacterial transformation process.
MultiShot chemically competent cells are available in three packaging formats: StripWell, FlexPlate, and standard 96-well PCR plates. These formats offer flexibility in the number of transformations that can be performed at once while maintaining the same cloning workflow.

Our 96-well and FlexPlate-formatted plates are heat-sealed with a robust foil that stands up to ultra-low temperature storage at –80°C without peeling or delamination. Designed for flexibility and ease of use, the seal can be easily removed by hand or integrated into automated workflows using liquid handling systems—streamlining your process from storage to transformation.
All Invitrogen MultiShot competent cells are supplied as a kit including SOC medium and control plasmid.
