CRD1 Antibody (PA5-98839) in WB
Western Blot analysis of CRD1 using a CRD1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98839). Positive WB detected in: Apium graveolens leaf tissue, Glycine max leaf tissue. All lanes: CRD1 antibody at 1:1000. A secondary Goat polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG was applied at a 1:50,000 dilution. Observed band size: 48 kDa.

CRD1 catalyzes the formation of the isocyclic ring in chlorophyll biosynthesis. It mediates the cyclase reaction, which results in the formation of divinylprotochlorophyllide (Pchlide) characteristic of all chlorophylls from magnesium-protoporphyrin IX 13-monomethyl ester (MgPMME).
