LCK is primarily expressed in T-cells and is crucial for T-cell development, function, and signaling, impacting cytokine production and immune responses. HCK, primarily found in hematopoietic cells, influences myeloid cell function and is implicated in oncogenic signaling pathways, potentially contributing to cancer progression via altered immune responses. BLK participates mainly in B-cell receptor signaling, impacting B-cell development and activation, with implications for immune cell signaling and potential roles in autoimmune diseases. Each of these kinases is a potential therapeutic target, given their roles in various pathophysiological conditions and their impact on immune cell signaling and cancer.
