SUMO2/SUMO3/SUMO4 Antibody (PA5-103276) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of SUMO2/SUMO3/SUMO4 in human esophageal cancer. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with SUMO2/SUMO3/SUMO4 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103276) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

SUMO proteins and ubiquitin post translationally modify numerous cellular proteins and affect their metabolism and function. However, unlike ubiquitination, which targets proteins for degradation, sumoylation participates in a number of cellular processes, such as nuclear transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis, and protein stability (Su and Li, 2002).
