Microbiology Products Privacy Notice

Who we are

This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how the microbiology business recently acquired from Thermo Fisher Scientific, including its affiliates and subsidiaries identified in the table below, collects, stores, uses, shares, transfers, deletes, and processed information collected from or about you (“Personal Data”) through the Thermo Fisher Scientific Website, when you purchase our products and services, and when you otherwise interact with us (collectively, “we,” “our,” or “us”).

 

Following the sale of the microbiology business, these entities are no longer controlled by, and are not affiliates or subsidiaries of, Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. or its affiliated companies (“Thermo Fisher”). Our presence on the thermofisher.com domain does not mean that our business is owned or controlled by Thermo Fisher. Except as specifically described in this Notice with respect to Thermo Fisher’s operation of the thermofisher.com website and related services, references to “we,” “us,” and “our” in this Notice do not refer to Thermo Fisher.

 

As an international organization, we operate through multiple legal entities in different jurisdictions.  The subsidiary or affiliate with whom you or your employer is interacting or who owns and operates the Product or Service is, where applicable, the entity responsible for the collection and use of your Personal Data (known in some jurisdictions as the “data controller”). A list of the data controllers can be found in the table above and contact details can be found in the Contact Us section at the end of this Notice.

The purpose and reach of this privacy notice

How long your personal data will be retained
