Invitrogen ELISA kits exist in two formats: Uncoated and Coated. Uncoated ELISA kits include all the necessary reagents to coat your own plates and run your assay with maximum flexibility. Coated ELISA kits are ready-to-use and quality tested for sensitivity, specificity, precision and lot-to-lot consistency.
IL-18 detection is also available using highly-sensitive ProQuantum Immunoassays. These assays provide a fast, easy workflow with no wash steps, and are detectable with any real-time PCR instrument.

靶标信息
The protein encoded by this gene is a proinflammatory cytokine. This cytokine can induce the IFN-gamma production of T cells. The combination of this cytokine and IL12 has been shown to inhibit IL4 dependent IgE and IgG1 production, and enhance IgG2a production of B cells. IL-18 binding protein can specifically interact with this cytokine, and thus negatively regulate its biological activity.
