TPI1 Antibody (MA571363) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence analysis of TPI1 was performed using SH-SY5Y cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 5 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes and blocked with 2% BSA for 1 hour at room temperature. Target Information
This gene encodes an enzyme, consisting of two identical proteins, which catalyzes the isomerization of glyceraldehydes 3-phosphate and dihydroxy-acetone phosphate in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. Mutations in this gene are associated with triosephosphate isomerase deficiency. Pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 1, 4, 6 and 7. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
