PA1-22557 detects Gli1 in human and mouse samples. This antibody does not cross react with Gli2 or Gli3.

PA1-22557 has been successfully used in ELISA, immunohistochemistry (paraffin), and Western blot procedures. It is suggested that antigen retrieval should be performed using heat treatment prior to staining.

The PA1-22557 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal residues 803-818 of mouse Gli1.

靶标信息

This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel family of zinc finger proteins. The encoded transcription factor is activated by the sonic hedgehog signal transduction cascade and regulates stem cell proliferation. The activity and nuclear localization of this protein is negatively regulated by p53 in an inhibitory loop. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
