Immunohistochemistry analysis of LAS1L in human normal tissues adjacent to colorectal cancer. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with LAS1L polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100599) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Involved in the biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit. Required for maturation of the 28S rRNA. Functions as a component of the Five Friends of Methylated CHTOP (5FMC) complex; the 5FMC complex is recruited to ZNF148 by methylated CHTOP, leading to desumoylation of ZNF148 and subsequent transactivation of ZNF148 target genes.
