Immunohistochemistry analysis of SYT10 in mouse muscle tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with SYT10 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104173) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total SYT10.

靶标信息

SYT10 is a Ca2+ sensor specifically required for the Ca2+-dependent exocytosis of secretory vesicles containing IGF1 in neurons of the olfactory bulb. Exocytosis of IGF1 is required for sensory perception of smell. SYT10 is not involved in Ca2+-dependent synaptic vesicle exocytosis. It acts through Ca2+ and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain: Ca2+ induces binding of the C2-domains to phospholipid membranes and to assembled SNARE-complexes; both actions contribute to triggering exocytosis.
