TCEAL5 Antibody (PA5-104185) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of TCEAL5 in A549 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with TCEAL5 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104185) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

TCEAL5, which is located on the X chromosome, encodes a protein which contains a BEX (brain expressed X-liked like family) domain. This domain is found in proteins encoded by the TCEAL elongation factor (transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like) gene family also located on the X chromosome. The coding region for this gene is located entirely in the terminal exon.
