Phospho-cdc25C (Ser198) Antibody (PA5-105160) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Phospho-cdc25C (Ser198) in human pancreatic cancer. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with Phospho-cdc25C (Ser198) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-105160) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of CDC25C only when phosphorylated at Ser198.

M-phase inducer phosphatase 3is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by theCDC25Cgene. This gene is highly conserved during evolution and it plays a key role in the regulation of cell division. The encoded protein is a tyrosine phosphatase and belongs to the Cdc25 phosphatase family. It directs dephosphorylation of cyclin B-bound CDC2 (CDK1) and triggers entry into mitosis. Also, it is thought to suppress p53-induced growth arrest. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, however, the full-length nature of many of them is not known.
