Western blot analysis of ARL6IP4 in extracts of Mouse testis. Samples were incubated with ARL6IP4 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-109411) using a dilution of 1:3,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

ARL6IP4 is a protein coding gene involved in modulating alternative pre-mRNA splicing with either 5' distal site activation or preferential use of 3' proximal site. In case of infection by Herpes simplex virus (HSVI), may act as a splicing inhibitor of HSVI pre-mRNA.
