PREX1 Antibody (PA5-112077) in WB
Western Blot analysis of PREX1 using PREX1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112077) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: Jurkat whole cell lysate, Lane B: 293T whole cell lysate, Lane C: Raji whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Dylight800) at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 35 kDa. Observed band size: 42 kDa.

The protein encoded by this gene acts as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for the RHO family of small GTP-binding proteins (RACs). It has been shown to bind to and activate RAC1 by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP. The encoded protein, which is found mainly in the cytoplasm, is activated by phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate and the beta-gamma subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins.
