FUCA1 Antibody (PA5-112145) in WB
Western Blot analysis of FUCA1 using FUCA1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112145) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: K562 whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Dylight 800) at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 54 kDa. Observed band size: 54 kDa.

Alpha-L-fucosidase (EC 3.2.1.51) is a lysosomal enzyme involved in the degradation of fucose-containing glycoproteins and glycolipids (Occhiodoro et al., 1989 [PubMed 2803312]). At least 2 separate polymorphic alpha-L-fucosidases are recognized in man: that in tissues, FUCA1, which is deficient in fucosidosis (MIM 230000), and that in plasma, FUCA2 (MIM 136820).[supplied by OMIM].
