TMEM26 Antibody (PA5-23477) in WB
Western blot analysis of TMEM26 in human Testis, Spleen, Colon, Kidney and Brain. Samples were incubated in TMEM26 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-23477) using a dilution of 2 µg/mL followed by an anti-rabbit HRP secondary antibody. Separated on a 12% gel by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and blocked in 5% non-fat milk in TBST. Detection: chemiluminescence.

Transmembrane protein 26, or Tmem26, is a protein which spans the entire biological membrane and thus maintains three dimensional structures. Transmembrane proteins aggregate and precipitate in water. They require detergents or nonpolar solvents for extraction, although some of them (beta-barrels) can be also extracted using denaturing agents.
