YME1L1 Antibody (PA5-24808) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of YME1L1 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded brain tissue. Samples were incubated with YME1L1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-24808) followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
YMEL1 is the human ortholog of yeast mitochondrial AAA metalloprotease, Yme1p. It is localized in the mitochondria and can functionally complement a yme1 disruptant yeast strain. It is proposed that this gene plays a role in mitochondrial protein metabolism and could be involved in mitochondrial pathologies.
