COQ7 Antibody (PA5-25774) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of COQ7 in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human skeletal muscle. Samples were incubated with COQ7 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-25774) followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

The protein encoded by this gene is similar to a mitochondrial di-iron containing hydroxylase in Saccharomyces cerevisiae that is involved with ubiquinone biosynthesis. Mutations in the yeast gene lead to slower development and longer life span. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
