FKBP8 Antibody (PA5-25881) in WB
Western blot analysis of FKBP8 in HepG2 cell line lysate. Samples were incubated with FKBP8 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-25881) using a dilution of 1:1000 (4°C, overnight) followed by horseradish peroxidase–conjugated secondary antibody. Resolved proteins were electrophoretically transferred to PVDF membrane and incubated sequentially with primary antibody. After washing, the bound antibody complex was detected using an ECL chemiluminescence reagent and XAR film (Kodak).

FKBP8 is a member of the immunophilin protein family, which play a role in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. Unlike the other members of the family, it does not seem to have PPIase/rotamase activity. It may have a role in neurons associated with memory function.
