CD105 Antibody (PA5-80582) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of CD105 in U251MG cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with CD105 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80582, 1:1,000) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and cell membrane.

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%).
This antibody has specificity for Human Endoglin/CD105.
Target Information
CD105 or Endoglin is a Type I transmembrane protein, which is highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It exists on an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Up regulation of endoglin expression has been demonstrated in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, suggesting that it is a proliferation associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds to TGF beta 1 and 3 with high affinity but not to TGF beta 2.
