Drosha Antibody (PA5-81165) in WB
Western Blot using Drosha Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-81165) at 1:500 dilution. Lane A: Jurkat Whole Cell Lysate, Lane B: 293 Whole Cell Lysate. Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti- RabbitIgG H&L (DyLight™ 800) at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 159 kDa. Observed band size: 159 kDa. (We are unsure of the identity of these extra bands).

Members of the ribonuclease III superfamily of double-stranded (ds) RNA-specific endoribonucleases participate in diverse RNA maturation and decay pathways in eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells (Fortin et al., 2002). The RNase III Drosha is the core nuclease that executes the initiation step of microRNA (miRNA) processing in the nucleus (Lee et al., 2003).
