MED4 Antibody (PA5-81522) in WB
Western Blot using MED4 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-81522) at 1:500 dilution. Lane A: A549 Whole Cell Lysate. Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary antibody: Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 30 kDa. Observed band size: 35 kDa.

The Mediator is a multiprotein coactivator that is required by DNA-binding transcription factors for activation of polymerase II transcribed genes. MED4 appears to be a core Mediator subunit and is found in nearly all Mediator preparations (Sato et al., 2004).
