p47phox Antibody (PA5-88139) in WB
Western blot analysis of p47phox in various lysates. Samples were incubated with p47phox Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-88139) using a dilution of 1:400, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 180s.

Target Information
p47phox (NCF1) is required, along with NCF2 and membrane bound cytochrome b558, for activation of the latent NADPH oxidase. This oxidase is a multicomponent enzyme that is activated to produce superoxide anion. Mutations in the gene can result in granulomatous disease.
