MC3R Antibody (PA5-95420) in WB
Western blot analysis of MC3R in mouse kidney extract (lane 1), and COLO320 whole cell lysates (lane 2). Samples were incubated with MC3R polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-95420) using a 0.5 µg/mL dilution. developed was performed using enhanced chemiluminescence (ECL).

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: mouse kidney tissue, COLO320 whole cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

This gene encodes a G-protein-coupled receptor for melanocyte-stimulating hormone and adrenocorticotropic hormone that is expressed in tissues other than the adrenal cortex and melanocytes. This gene maps to the same region as the locus for benign neonatal epilepsy. Mice deficient for this gene have increased fat mass despite decreased food intake, suggesting a role for this gene product in the regulation of energy homeostasis. Mutations in this gene are associated with a susceptibility to obesity in humans.
