Phospho-GATA1 (Ser142) Antibody (PA5-99361) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Phospho-GATA1 (Ser142) in human bladder cancer tissue sections. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with Phospho-GATA1 (Ser142) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99361) using a dilution of 1:200 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of GATA1 only when phosphorylated at Serine 142.
Target Information
Transcriptional activator or repressor which probably serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development. It binds to DNA sites with the consensus sequence 5'-[AT]GATA[AG]-3' within regulatory regions of globin genes and of other genes expressed in erythroid cells.
