NAOBasket™ + 2 mL Tube, in peel pouch

The Nucleic Acid Optimizer basket (NAOBasket) is a plastic semi-permeable device that allows fast and complete recovery of nucleic acids from swab samples, card punches, or other specimens into a sample tube.

NAOBasket is designed with a collapsable grid bottom that allows passage of all eluted DNA from the collection device (i.e., swab) into a sample tube during high-speed centrifugation, with a tight fit to help prevent leaks during vortexing.

Features of NAOBasket include:

• Forensic DNA grade—free of amplifiable human DNA and detectable DNase and RNase; EtO treated
• Lyse and centrifuge in the basket—innovative product design allows the passage of DNA from sample into the tube using a grid bottom, and tight leak-proof design can endure vortexing, centrifugations, and various storage conditions
