Order the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Viper™ Tandem Operation Capillary Kit for all the connectors and capillaries you need to plumb your tandem LC system. This single kit contains Viper Fingertight Fittings technology, which avoids data-destroying dead volumes in the capillary connections of your tandem HPLC or UHPLC system. Even with conventional columns and moderate pressures, poor connections can cause retention time shifts and peak distortions. Viper Fingertight Fittings seal at the tip of the tubing to eliminate dead volumes and make it easier to plumb your HPLC or UHPLC system.

Conventional stainless steel HPLC connectors use a ferrule and a nut to establish a connection. A flaw of this design is that a void volume-free connection is not guaranteed, particularly when changing the tubing between differently shaped threads (e.g. when changing a column).

Viper connectors are standard for Dionex RSLC system connections
