Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ Polypropylene Screw Top vials for <2 mL Samples (Level 1) offer an affordable choice for everyday chromatography across LC instruments. Designed for labs that need reliability and value, these vials help provide consistent results for QA/QC workflows and routine analytical applications. These vials are suitable for PFAS analysis.

Made from polypropylene, these vials meet US, EU, and JPN Pharmacopeia requirements and are Specification Certified to ensure autosampler-compatible dimensions.

These polypropylene vials are available in two different volume formats:

  • 400 μL (usable volume of 300 μL ) with a residual volume ~4 μL with a fixed insert
  • 1.5 mL (usable volume of 1 mL) with a residual volume ~ 170 μL. An amber version is also available

Pair them with Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ 9 mm screw caps and septa to maintain sample integrity throughout daily operations.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What are SureSTART microvials?

Microvials are suitable for use when sample volume is limited or when you need to get maximum recovery from the vial. These vials allow small volumes to be sampled accurately by autosamplers with a recoverable volume of much less than 100 µL. High recovery, total recovery, and vials with fixed inserts are all classed as microvials.
