Gibco Expi293 Flex Expression Medium is a chemically defined, serum-free, protein-free medium for suspension-adapted human embryonic kidney (HEK)293 cell cultivation and transfection. Serving as a key component of the Expi293 Flex Expression System, it enables high-density culture of Expi293 Flex cells and scalable transient protein production.

  • Enables suspension HEK 293 cell cultures to reach cell densities exceeding 15 x 106 cells/mL.
  • Serum-free suspension cell culture medium compatible with transfection
  • Supports sustained, high expression in high-density transient transfection cultures, with recombinant protein yields reaching 5 g/L maximum
