TaqMan™ QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix

TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix is designed for rapid, multiplex, high-sensitivity real-time quantitative RT-PCR detection with high-quality results for even complex samples. This master mix contains UDG enzyme to help prevent crossover contamination. The enzyme master mix and buffer are provided in concentrated format, which allows for the addition of more sample to each reaction, increasing sensitivity in even small reactions. The separate enzyme master mix and buffer facilitate the optimization of reaction conditions and are ideal for molecular diagnostic applications.

High sensitivity
TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix has been optimized for high-sensitivity detection of low-abundance targets. Concentrated enzyme master mix and buffer (10X and 5X, respectively) allow larger sample volumes to be added to standard reactions for more accurate quantitation of low-abundance samples. At the same time, it allows the construction of smaller reactions and is compatible with fast cycling protocols. As few as five copies of RNA template have been detected in a 20-μL reaction (see figure below).

Multiplex targets
TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix can accommodate up to five channels of simultaneous detection. A figure below shows a linear regression result of a 5-plex detection reaction of ACADM, APOE, GAPDH, RNaseP, and an exogenous internal positive control (IPC) of human RNA, with an R2 value greater than 0.98.

Easy to optimize
TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix separates the enzyme master mix and buffer, which is more conducive to optimizing the reaction conditions according to different targets and sample types.

Suitable for complex samples
The buffer components and proprietary additives in TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix have been optimized to ensure reliable results even for complex samples such as saliva and crude cell extracts (see figure below).

Wide dynamic range
TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix can yield a dynamic range of up to six logs (see figure below) and shows a comparable or better range of detection of various targets compared to other master mixes (see figure below).

High batch-to-batch consistency
The production process of TaqMan QK Platinum 1-Step Multiplex Master Mix follows the ISO 9001 quality management system, which helps ensure the traceability of the production process and establishment of quality control points from raw material procurement to product release, helping to produce high batch-to-batch consistency of the master mix (see figure below).
