Cindion Combustion IC System

Perform oxidative pyrohydrolytic combustion on solid, liquid, and gas samples for the analysis of halogens and sulfur by ion chromatography using the Cindion Combustion/Absorption Module. The Cindion Combustion/Absorption Module is a key component of the Thermo Scientific™ Cindion™ Combustion IC (C-IC) System, a single-source C-IC system that provides a seamless experience for the screening of potentially toxic halogens and sulfur in a variety of sample types.

Consistent, time-saving C-IC analysis
  • Reduced sample pathway provides low sample carryover to decrease wash time between samples
  • Compact combustion tube ensures complete combustion in a shorter distance within the oven
  • Peltier cooled sample introduction improves cycle time by cooling boat down prior to next injection
  • Peristaltic pump only delivers water during sample combustion to minimize usage and preserve combustion tube integrity
Cindion Combustion IC System configurations

Pair the Cindion Combustion/Absorption Module with other key components of the Cindion C-IC System to perform combustion IC analysis for solid, liquid, or gas samples. Configurations include:

  • Solid-sample analysis
  • Solid-sample analysis with US EPA Method 1621 compatibility
  • Liquid-sample analysis
