TheraPure SuperFi II DNA Polymerase incorporates Affibody-based hot-start technology to inhibit enzyme activity at ambient temperatures, allowing room-temperature reaction setup and extended stability of pre-assembled PCR reactions. Enzyme activity is restored during the initial denaturation step enabling high specificity.

TheraPure™ 5X SuperFi™ II Buffer contains specialized additives that support efficient amplification of both AT-rich and GC-rich templates. Robust performance is achieved with GC-rich sequences up to 75% GC without the need for additional melting agents. Buffer additives stabilize primer–template duplexes during annealing, enabling increased specificity without individual primer optimization.

TheraPure SuperFi II DNA Polymerase possesses 5'→3' polymerase and 3'→5' exonuclease (proofreading) activities and lacks 5'→3' exonuclease activity. The enzyme generates blunt-end DNA products.
