Description:
Model EPM. 300 Diluting Stack Sampler
Prepare a sample from the stack with the Thermo Scientific™ EPM.300 Series Diluting Stack Sampler, which performs the four critical functions of sample delivery, course filtering, fine filtering, and sample dilution. The Thermo Scientific™ dilution probes are proven performers with low maintenance requirements in the field and a long life on the stack.
The system uses an air-driven aspirator which extracts the sample from the stack. It is then passed consecutively through a coarse and fine particulate filter, a preselected glass or quartz critical orifice and diluted with the air from the aspirator. This process reduces the dew point of the stack sample to below that of the ambient air.

Key Features:

  • Low-cost installation, maintenance and operation
  • Low extractive flow rates, promoting long filter life
  • No moving parts in the system
  • Easy dynamic in-situ calibration at total dilution system
  • Manual or optional automatic blow back
  • Optional probe heater

Additional Information:

  • No need for heated sample line in most cases
  • Diluted sample is transported at positive pressure
  • Any existing ambient air analyzer can be used
  • Available in several corrosion resistant materials
