Accurately and rapidly identify mastitis-causing Mycoplasma species in bovine milk samples in less than four hours with PathoProof™ Mycoplasma-8 Kit PCR test. The primary benefits of this kit are the time to result (hours compared with 10 days with culture methods), the ability to identify the particular Mycoplasma species causing the infection, and the ability to test both fresh and preserved milk samples. Make faster decisions on treatment and reduce the time that an infective agent has to spread in a herd.
Identify the six main Mycoplasma species together with Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae in four hours using PathoProof Mycoplasma-8 multiplex PCR. All targeted species are detected simultaneously, overcoming the common problem of mixed growth results in bacterial culturing.

Assays are based on real-time PCR, an accurate and sensitive technology for identification of the target DNA in the sample.
