Why are bands not visible on my gel after destaining when using the GelCode Blue Safe Protein Stain?
It is possible the GelCode Blue Safe Stain was not activated. When the activator crystals are added, the pH of the stain should be approximately 2. If the stain was not activated, add the crystals and restain the gel; however, if the stain was activated, try increasing the staining time.
