MicroPES™ Capillary Membrane
MicroPES™ capillary membranes are hydrophilic hollow-fiber membranes made of polyethersulfone (PES, blended with PVP). They are produced with an asymmetric pore structure, combining high separation selectivity with high permeability (flux).

MicroPES™ Capillary Membranes are designed for OEM use as liquid microfiltration media. Typical applications include manufacturing microfiltration cartridges and systems for industrial liquid filtration. Supplied as bundles, they support Original Device Manufacturers in developing new filtration devices across a wide range of industries and applications, offering flexible integration into customized system designs.
- Available in three formats: bundles, single threaded spools, and knitted mats
- Elongation at break and tensile strength of MicroPES™ Capillary Membranes is comparable to other synthetic membranes
- May be sterilized by Ethylene Oxide (ETO) gassing, gamma-irradiation, electron beam-irradiation, as well as steam-sterilization, provided that a suitable PUR system is used for embedding
- Inherent hydrophilicity even after drying
