Human Stem Cell Renewal Package, PeproTech®

The Human Stem Cell Renewal Package contains the key stem cell growth factors required to maintain pluripotency and enable self-renewal of iPSCs in cell culture. The package contains the following two vials: 100 μg Human FGF-Basic (Cat. No. 100-18B-100UG) and 100 μg Human BMP-4 (Cat. No. 120-05ET-100UG). FGF-Basic (FGF2, FGFb, fibroblast growth factor) belongs to the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family and interacts with high-affinity transmembrane receptors to influence cell proliferation and tissue neovascularization. BMP-4 is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family which is part of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily.

FGF-Basic (FGF2, FGFb, fibroblast growth factor) belongs to the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family and interacts with high-affinity transmembrane receptors to influence cell proliferation and tissue neovascularization. FGF-Basic has been implicated in diverse biological processes, such as limb and nervous system development, wound healing, and tumor growth. FGF-basic plays a crucial role in maintaining the pluripotent state of iPSCs. It activates signaling pathways that prevent differentiation and promote self-renewal. FGF-basic also promotes cell proliferation, ensuring that iPSCs maintain a high growth rate.

BMP-4 is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family which is part of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily. The superfamily includes large families of growth and differentiation factors.
