The Cobetter Bricap™ L03 capsule filter is designed to support inline sterile filtration of Type 2 water in food testing diluter workflows. Its durable capsule construction and hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES) membrane help provide reliable water flow and effective microbial retention for consistent diluent delivery.

The Bricap™ L03 capsule filter uses a Cobetter Purcise™ SAF 0.45/0.2 µm PES membrane configuration, supporting the preparation of sterile filtered diluent for food microbiology applications. This helps maintain diluter performance and supports contamination-controlled sample preparation workflows.

Sterilizing-grade filters are qualified through microbial challenge testing using Brevundimonas diminuta at a concentration of 1 × 107 CFU/cm2 and are correlated with validated, non-destructive integrity testing methods. Filters of this type are typically classified with a nominal pore size of 0.2 to 0.22 μm.

Product Features and Key Benefits

  • Supports reliable water flow for diluter workflows
  • Designed for inline sterile filtration of Type 2 water
  • Low extractables to support consistent diluent quality
  • Bacterial retention validated in accordance with ASTM F838 requirements
  • Every filter undergoes integrity testing before shipment
  • Suitable for up to 25 autoclave cycles at 130°C for 30 minutes per cycle

Quality and Compliance

  • Manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system
  • Produced in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles
  • 100% integrity tested prior to release
  • Individually serialized for complete product traceability
  • Certificate of Analysis (COA) and/or Certificate of Quality (COQ) supplied with each shipment

Intended Use Statement

Filters are validated for use with up to 225 L of Type 2 water or for a maximum of 5 consecutive days, whichever occurs first provided the aseptic technique is maintained and dispensing nozzle protection is used. After this limit, re-sterilization is required to maintain sterility and prevent bio film formation. This volume allows dilution of two InstaPrep™ BPW Bags (with 91.8 L water each), with an additional ˜40 L capacity.
