TrkC Antibody (MA5-56426) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of TrkC with TT cells. Cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde (20 min, room temp), permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS (5 min, room temp), then blocked with 1% BSA in 10% negative goat serum (1 hr, room temp). Next they were incubated with TrkC Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-56426)at a dilution of 1:100 in 1% BSA in PBST overnight at 4 &(8)451;. Followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L at a dilution of 1:1,000. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue).

Target Information
NTRK3 (TRKC) belongs to the neurotrophic factor family of related polypeptides central to the development and maintenance of the mammalian nervous system. Known substrates for the TRK receptors are SHC, PI-3 kinase, and PLCG1. The different isoforms do not have identical signaling properties. The protein is widely expressed, mainly in the nervous tissue. The isoform B is expressed in a relatively large amount in the adult brain comparatively to fetal brain. TRKC is subject to ligand-mediated auto-phosphorylation. The protein structure contains 2 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains and 2 leucine-rich (LRR) repeats.
