Human Collagen IV shares 97% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse Collagen IV.

Positive Control - WB: human placenta tissue. IHC: human lung cancer tissue.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Collagen IV alpha-1 (COL4A1) encodes the major type IV alpha collagen chain of basement membranes. Like the other members of the type IV collagen gene family, this gene is organized in a head-to-head conformation with another type IV collagen gene so that each gene pair shares a common promoter.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
Protein Aliases: arresten; COL4A1 NC1 domain; Collagen alpha-1(IV) chain; collagen IV, alpha-1 polypeptide; collagen of basement membrane, alpha-1 chain; collagen, type IV, alpha 1
